Brian joined PGI in September 2013, after 21 years with GCHQ. Brian left GCHQ as their Deputy Director for Intelligence and Cyber Operations. He served in a wide range of roles for GCHQ, at home and abroad, and has deep experience drawn from many years’ activity across the breadth of Intelligence and Cyber operations. He is a leading thinker in the area of Cyber Warfare.
Sebastian leads PGI’s work advising its government, law enforcement and corporate clients on projects to develop their cyber capability. Sebastian began his career in the UK civil service working to coordinate, strengthen and resource national security, intelligence, cyber and civil emergency structures. He was promoted to the Senior Civil Service in 2001 and was appointed Chief of Staff to the UK’s National Security Advisor in 2002. On leaving the civil service in 2005, Sebastian worked as a strategy consultant, defining and establishing government cyber and national security structures and mechanisms for collaboration with industry.
Brian joined the PGI Government Consulting in 2014 and is also the Academic Director of the John Smith Trust and Beyond Borders, Scotland. He is a specialist in designing and delivering professional development, leadership, policy transformation and bespoke training programmes for government, NGOs, the private sector and overseas clients. Brian has been a senior policy adviser to politicians and civil servants from a range of countries across the Middle East and Eastern Europe. He has written or edited fourteen books on contemporary historical and political themes. Previously, he was Professor of Human Rights at Kingston University.
Over 12 years’ experience leading operations and project management initiatives for both public and private sector contracts. Natasha joined PGI in mid-2014 and now is Head of Business Support.
